AlumnForce is a professional digital social networking solution dedicated to higher-education used by more than 95 universities and schools in France and abroad. As Business Manager Benelux, I am in charge of generating new business and managing customer relations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.

HEC Alumni is the network formed by HEC Paris graduates (60 000 members spread worldwide, 18 staff members). HEC Paris counts among the best management schools in Europe. As responsible for running the Digital / IT Department (2 to 5 collaborators), my main responsibilities were:
• Manage human resources (in-house and external staff) and finance (300 K€ annual budget)
• Purchase IT services, organize calls for tenders, manage contracts
• Analyze and integrate new business needs to existing technical environment and convert them into reality (information systems urbanization plans, software design and implementation, platform integration, authentication procedures…)
• Manage evolutions of existing systems and platforms
• Maintain existing assets, train and assist users
• Promote new tools, platforms or systems among members and staff (alumni, students), train and assist power users.
Main Achievements:
• Conducted several business studies in collaboration with high level IT services companies (ATOS, CGI) to deliver strategic orientations, strategic plan, information systems urbanization plans, product requirements, functional and technical specifications aiming at implementing a new IT strategy based on a “buy” approach vs. the current “custom” approach (October 2015).
• Designed and deployed digital collaboration tools (500 instances) to enhance the management of the association’s world-wide groups and chapters (2009 – 2015)
• Conducted the digital transformation project of HEC Alumni Association between 2011 and 2013 (website, iPhone app, integration to information system)
• Identified and implemented in 2007 a mass mailing and Marketing solution connected to the master database (Smart Focus)
• Built and maintained the information system (open source technologies) which has been the back bone of the organization for the last 10 years (2005 to 2015)
